Kinondo Kwetu is a small, all-inclusive luxury resort owned and operated by a Swedish family. But beyond the accommodations, food, and amenities you would expect, it also offers another kind of luxury.
Kinondo Kwetu is situated on the south coast of Kenya, 1 ½ hours ride south from Mombasa, on the beach of the Indian Ocean. With room for no more than 38 guests, you will always find your own private spot at Kinondo Kwetu, which makes it a very special hideaway for honeymooners. It is also the perfect place to gather family or friends for a private celebration or wedding. With two kitchens in separate buildings, the place can easily be divided into two, making it possible for companies of 10-20 or 30-40 to stay for themselves. It is also the ideal spot for corporate retreats.
Room
Kinondo Kwetu offers a range of rooms and suites providing an option for everyone from families to couples. Every suite and cottage has an individual character; decorated in a traditional Swahili style. All rooms have expansive king size or comfortable twin beds draped with mosquito nets. Most rooms have sea views and none are further than 30 metres from the beach. The resort has eight suites, four upstairs and four downstairs. In particular Borelius suite is great for families, connecting to a large ensuite twin or triple room. There are five individual cottages, three double cottages, one double cottage with a connecting single bedroom, and the beach house which is a double story cottage with an upstairs ensuite double bedroom and a downstairs double ensuite with connecting single bedroom.

Dining
At Kinondo Kwetu, there is no fixed dining area. Enjoy your three-course lunch on the beach under a shady tree or in the boathouse looking out over the ocean.Dine on exquisite meals, complemented by a fine South African wine, under the moonlit sky, in a water tower, or in a gorgeous garden. Ingredients are fresh and full of flavour, from the locally sourced meat and locally grown vegetables to the fresh seafood.
