NBGL offers 21 rooms in 18 residences with full amenities divided into 3 two-bedroom family villas, 4 Luxury Forest Suites, 6 garden cottages, and 5 Standard Garden Cottages. Each cottage features a bedroom, ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, living area with a fireplace (no fireplace in standard rooms) and comfortable chairs to enjoy the golden fire glow. Lounge chairs on the outdoor verandas give the perfect vantage point to celebrate the magnificent landscape views (standard rooms don't have views).In all its glory, celebrating sustainability and nature, Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, an African bush wonderland, lets the landscape do the showing off. All villa rooms have breathtaking views over the imposing Bwindi Forest, and the garden chalets soar above the Virunga Mountains range. Rounding out the experience are rickety walkways, dramatic black volcano rock finishing, and the constant natural freshness.

The garden cottages and villa rates are Full Board arrangements, including breakfast, lunch (packed lunch for those tracking Gorillas), and a 4-course dinner. We cater to special diets on request. All suites come on an all-inclusive arrangement with full-time butler service.We have two lounge and dining spaces, Mylica Bar and Rafiki Lounge, with stunning views of our surroundings, the Virunga Volcanoes, and the Bwindi Forest – both serving homemade meals and freshly-baked bread and warmly furnished with fireplaces. Recreation

The lodge offers walking safari adventures around the rural landscape to complement the gorilla trekking excursions. One of the favourites with many guests is the walk across Bwindi Impenetrable Forest from Nkuringo to Buhoma, a renewing nature hike with a local guide. Several other trails around the lodge take you through the paradise of pristine nature and local mountain communities in the sophisticated landscape. The guided walking safari is a must for adventure seekers and nature lovers.
