The Elegant Guesthouse

The Elegant Guesthouse is a relatively simple but stylish owner-run guesthouse situated in the residential area of Klein Windhoek. It’s just a few minutes’ drive from the shops, restaurants and other attractions of central Windhoek.

Clipped green lawns, sparkling pool, impeccably manicured guest rooms and cheerfully attentive staff help ensure that from the moment you arrive you feel a delicious sense of Dulce Domum - even though the wild beauty of the African veld is just miles from your door.The 6 garden and courtyard facing bedrooms are light, functional and imbued with contemporary, angular good looks. They have great mattresses of the firm-yet-pliant variety and these are matched by top-of-the-range bed linen.Expect a full quotient of gadgetry: TV (discreetly tucked away in a cabinet in most rooms), WiFi internet connection, telephone, hairdryer, safe and a hot and cold air-conditioning unit.

Rooms

The Elegant Guest House has six bedrooms leading off a peaceful central courtyard. All are broadly similar in terms of amenities, though room three is popular with honeymooners because it has a small, private patio and is closest to the swimming pool. Decorated with neutral colours and fabrics, each room has a double or twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, air conditioning and a satellite television. Extra towels and, for those chilly winter nights, extra blankets are provided; with fluffy bathrobes a lovely extra touch.

Full breakfasts are available daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM for a fee.
