Adventure Rottnest Island Tour
Rottnest Island is an ‘A’ Class Nature Reserve and is widely regarded as one of Western Australia’s best kept secrets. It is home to some of the most spectacular white sandy beaches, secluded bays, unique wildlife, including the famous Quokka and colony of New Zealand Fur Seals. Your tour includes a 90 minute Eco Adventure boat cruise around Rottnest Island.
Your full-day island experience starts as you hop aboard the cruiser in Perth and enjoy morning tea while you travel down the Swan River, passing local landmarks and the riverfront houses of Millionaire’s Row to the port town of Fremantle. After a quick stop to collect more passengers, it's just a short hop across the ocean to Rottnest Island. You arrive at Rottnest Island at approximately 10.30am and join a guided introduction walk, followed by an Eco Adventure boat tour around Rottnest Island. This 90 minute circumnavigation of the island takes you out to some of Rottnest’s most spectacular locations. The waters off Rottnest Island are teeming with wildlife, including the majestic Humpback Whales during September to November and closer to home watch the delightful antics of The New Zealand Fur Seal Colony out at Cathedral Rocks.
The afternoon is at leisure. The return ferry trip to the mainland departs at 4.00pm giving you time to explore or enjoy the wonderful sand beaches. The Island’s breathtaking natural beauty has to be one of Rottnest’s biggest assets. This vast natural playground has over 63 beaches and 20 bays so there is a high possibility of finding a secluded beach all to yourself.
